So, don’t buy bras without a fitting. DUH.
I knew that. I tell everyone that. And yet, I still thought I could do it on my own. I eyeballed it, measured, ordered a band size down & a cup size down, and was super disappointed when my package arrived. These bras couldn’t have fit worse, and it’s my own fault.
SO, I decided to bite the bullet and brave the crowds at the KOP mall for a much needed fitting at Intimacy. Turns out, my size is just right. No band needs to change - my bras are just..ohh, how do you say? OLD. AS. SHIT. …and needed to be replaced.
Make sense. The last legit bra I bought was…well, a year ago? I’m ashamed. And cheap. Mostly ashamed. REALLY cheap.
I made two waaaaay overdue, absolutely necessary purchases. On the left - the adorable polka dotted Patsy from Freya in a 32F and on the right, the COMFY and incredibly supportive Madison in black by Prima Donna in a 32E.

oh BTW I couldn’t be more thrilled to say GOODBYE FOR GOOD to G cups, and GG cups for that matter. Hard work and eating right pays off! Now, I could have saved myself a few bucks by ordering online, but a fitting was just what I needed. Also, few things feel better than walking out of a store with something that fits you like a glove. The way you sit, stand, walk, present yourself, and even the way your clothes fit all depend on wearing the right bra. I couldn’t be more relieved.
Two new bras should arrive at my doorstep any day now, thanks to sweet cyber Monday deals. Merry Christmas to me! Both are from Panache. Their sports bra is really the best 60 bucks I’ve ever spent, and the time has come for a new one. The other is their Porcelain Plunge, because why not? It’s super cute, and while it had no reviews (I usually live by customer reviews) I decided to go for it. Treat yo’self!
I’m trying out a new size - a 30E thanks to me dropping a handful of pounds and getting in shape. Fingers crossed they fit like a glove.
